Not that I am a huge George Bush supporter by any stretch, but I a can no longer take West's belly aching. as you watch the vid mark the looks on actor Mike Meyers face...classic as West loads bothe barrels and shoots himself in the proverbial foot.

I think he got flustered because he couldn't read half the words that came up on the teleprompter (not because of his eyesight but because of his level of education). Just listen to the opening lines read my Michael Myers - can you imagine Kayne West reading the same?

even if bush were the head of the kkk he had the best motivation to do his best to get help on the way.

he KNOWS that every single democrat politician looking at the next election will do their best to make anything look bad.

yes the response was botched but to say it was racism only shows the racism of the accuser.

Bush also has a vested interest in fixing things as fast as possible tokeep the damage hit to the economy as low as possible.

I'm not the first one to point out that it's just poor taste to discuss politics and blame at this time. If you're on a sinking ship you're not going to sit around and try to figure out if it's the fault of the boiler manufacturer or the contracter who worked on the hull.

Even so, it's never so simple as to blame the incumbent president for the problems of relief. Just to even out the facts I'll just point out that in 1995 it was president Clinton who cut the budget in half for the Army Corps of Engineers declaring that natural disaster relief (specifically with regards to Louisiana!) was a state matter, not a federal matter. It was a Republican Congress who fought to maintain federal resources for this purpose.

I guess the point Im trying to make is that this bonehead (West) used this very valuable forum to implore the help of the nation and the world in an effor to help with relief efforst on the gulf coast and instead he takes the opportunity to voice personal opinions on a subject that cant be explained away. this was a n at u r a l d i s a s t e r....not the button pushing of thr prez. the man (west and i use the term loosly) is an idiot. and as someone above pointed out it may very well be a result of his limited education, and if so what the hell is he doing opening his mouth on subjects he is no where near qualified to comment on.

yup this dude pisses me off.

It should come as no surprise that his agent unwittingly hooked him up to do the spot. I find it hard to believe that a fella like West has enough initiative or insight to make any public appearance on his own.

As Xue has said: Now is not the time or place for politics. Also, celebrities are not the end-all-be-all of political thought. That this West guy is making political noise over a natural disaster shames his parents. That said, WE just can't make any more of this. Guru is a gaming site, not a political forum.
